It was reported earlier that NC State Campus police charged Dwayne Daughtry with a sex offense involving another student. Daughtry is a student and part time disk jockey of WKNC.
The police reported that Daughtry knew the victim through a mutual acquaintance. The victim went over to Daughtry’s residence after a party and fell asleep. The victim reported that he woke up at 4AM and Daughtry was assaulting him.
He reported the attack 24 hours later.
Daughtry has been charged with second degree sex offense and is being held on a $100,000 bond at the Wake County Jail.
Daughtry is a dj at WKNC under the name Triple X.
