The Society of Afrikan American Culture seeks to maintain the African American identity and presence on campus through political awareness, cultural affairs and community service on campus as well as the surrounding community.
Paige’s words of advice: “Networking is key. As the old saying goes: ‘It is not what you know, but who you know.’ From janitors, to peers, to teachers and administrators, develop each relationship you make to its full potential. No matter how small the relationship may seem, you never know how it may greatly affect your life. So every time you come in contact with an individual, make a positive impression that sets you apart from the rest.”
