Several hundred students began lining up overnight on Monday in the Brickyard for a chance to get free tickets to see President Barack Obama give a speech on the American Jobs Act, to be held on Wednesday in Reynolds Coliseum. Students showed up with tents, sleeping bags, chairs, and even futons for their overnight stay and kept themselves busy by bringing friends, computers, and other forms of technology. A limited quantity of tickets were given out starting around 7:30 A.M. and were free to students that presented their N. C. State ID card. Tickets became available to faculty and staff and the general public later in the afternoon. Photo by Megan Farrell
